New blueprint for Public Service Media launched last week
The new blueprint for Public Service Media was launched at the Media Festival last week.
Earlier this year, over 50 leaders and professionals from media, communications and technology, government and social enterprise came together with the purpose of creating a new blueprint for non-broadcast public service media for the UK and beyond.
The PSM2009 conference was produced by UNESCO with Golant Media Ventures and with the support of NESTA.

What is Public Service Media (PSM)?
Media which fulfils the same public purposes as public service broadcasting but which uses digital media and platforms including the Internet instead of broadcast television or radio. It is particularly relevant to youth audiences.
